Censor board’s scissors on ‘Dhurandhar 2’, many scenes cut with A certificate
Tezzbuzz Desk – Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited film Dhurandhar 2 is in the headlines even before its release. Paid preview shows of the film have started on March 18, while it will be released in theaters on March 19. After great earnings in advance booking, now another big update has come out about the film, the Censor Board has given it a certificate, but scissors have also been used on many scenes.
CBFC gave A certificate
According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has issued an A certificate to ‘Dhurandhar 2’. This decision was taken in view of some violent and sensitive scenes present in the film.
Also, the scenes in which abusive words were used have been muted and changes have also been made in some dialogues.
Scissors on these scenes
Many action scenes of the film have been shortened. In these, scenes like hitting the head with a hammer, beheading and fighting have been edited. Apart from this, the duration of some scenes has been reduced so that the content can be made as per the censor guidelines.

After several cuts, the total runtime of the film is now said to be around 3 hours 49 minutes. The interesting thing is that ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is about 15 minutes longer than its first part. The end credits of the film have also been shortened to about 1 minute.
Will be released in 5 languages
‘Dhurandhar 2’ is being released on a pan India level. Apart from Hindi, this film will also be released before the audience in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Along with Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi will be seen in important roles in the film.
There is also a lot of discussion about Yami Gautam’s cameo in the film. However, the makers have not yet officially confirmed this, which has further increased the curiosity among the fans.
