UP’s face will change: Tractors, construction machines and food processing units will be installed, 3400 crore investment will be made on Yamuna Expressway… bumper jobs will be available.

Lucknow, Read: Yogi government has got another big success in the direction of accelerating industrial investment in the state. Land has been allotted to three major companies in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area, which will set up tractors, construction equipment and food processing units here. Through these projects, investment of more than Rs 3,400 crore will come in the state and more than 5,700 employment opportunities will be created.

This allocation, made on the recommendation of Invest UP, is being considered as a result of the improving investment policy and industry-friendly environment in the state. The government aims to develop the Yamuna Expressway area as a major industrial hub. The largest investment will be made by Escorts Kubota Limited. The company has been allotted 154 acres of land in Sector-10, where the tractor and construction equipment manufacturing unit will be set up. There will be an investment of about Rs 2,029 crore in this project and about 4,000 people will get employment. This is expected to strengthen the agriculture and infrastructure sectors.

Whereas, CNH Industrial India Pvt. Ltd. Has been given 100 acres of land in Sector-8D. The company will set up a tractor manufacturing unit here, in which an investment of Rs 1,219.81 crore is proposed. This project will create about 1,200 jobs and the state will move towards becoming a major center for agricultural machinery manufacturing. The third company Sun Organic Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been allotted 30,000 square meter land in Sector-8D. Dry fruit processing and packaging unit will be established here, in which investment of Rs 225.16 crore and 569 jobs will be created.

Due to the government’s single window system, strong infrastructure and industry-friendly policies, investor confidence is continuously increasing. These projects will also give a new impetus to the local economy, logistics and supply chain.
