Tension between Iran and Israel is continuously increasing in the Middle East. According to Al Jazeera report, Israeli fighter jets have attacked a gas facility located in Bushehr, Iran. After this attack, Iran has reacted strongly and warned that it will target the enemy’s infrastructure in retaliation.
Let us tell you, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it has attacked more than 100 targets in Tel Aviv under its Operation “True Promise 4”. This attack is being said to be revenge for the death of Ali Larijani. According to the IRGC, multi-warhead missiles Khorramshahr-4, Kadr, Imad and Khyber Shekan were used in the 61st phase of this campaign.
IRGC also claims that so far more than 230 people have been killed or injured in this operation. However, these figures could not be independently confirmed.
Meanwhile, in Tehran, the funeral of several military officers and marines, including Ali Larijani and Basij force chief Major General Gholamreza Soleimani, was held. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire country.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that the country’s political system is very strong and the death of any one person will not affect the system. Accusing America and Israel of launching the attack, he said that Iran did not start this war.
Amidst the increasing conflict, instability has increased in the entire region, which may also affect the global energy market and international situation.
