The price in Mumbai has reached Rs 158,090 per 10 grams. A day earlier, on March 17, gold prices in Delhi’s bullion market rose by Rs 1,050 or about one per cent to Rs 161,300 per 10 grams. In the international market, the spot price of gold is $5,004.71 per ounce.

• Gold prices in Delhi: In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 145,060 per 10 grams, while the rate of 22-carat gold is Rs 146,490 per 10 grams.
• Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata: Currently, the price of 22-carat gold in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata is Rs 144,910 per 10 grams, while the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 158,090 per 10 grams.
• Prices in Pune and Bengaluru: In both these cities, the price of 24-carat gold is Rs 158,090 per 10 grams. The price of 22-carat gold is Rs 144,910 per 10 grams.

Another precious metal, silver, has also seen a rise. On the morning of March 18, the price of silver was Rs 275,100 per kg. A day ago, silver prices increased by Rs 6,000 or 2.34 percent in Delhi’s bullion market. It reached Rs 262,500 per kg. The spot price of silver in the international market is $79.55 per ounce.
