Chaitra Navratri Kalash Establishment Worship Method 2026
- Establishing the Kalash on the first day of Chaitra Navratri has special significance. There is a very easy method for Ghat installation.
- First of all, place a clean wooden stool at the place of worship and spread a red or yellow colored cloth over it.
- After this, install the picture or idol of Maa Durga and while taking the resolution of worship, first start by worshiping Lord Ganesha.
- To establish the Kalash, mix barley in soil and place it in front of the idol of Mother Goddess. Then tie Kalava on the mouth of clay or brass Kalash and add a few drops of Ganga water in it and fill it with water. Then put a lump of turmeric, a betel nut, a coin, mango leaves in it, close the kalash and fill it with rice.
- After this, install the coconut on the Kalash and tie a red cloth and Kalava on it. Then worship the Kalash and Maa Durga with rituals. Offer all types of puja items while using puja.
- Then light a ghee lamp and incense and worship the Shailputri form of Maa Durga, do mantras and recite them. At the end, while performing the Aarti, ask for forgiveness for the mistakes made in the puja.
