Bhopal’s Homeopathy Wellness Center will receive “AYUSH and Integrated Medicine Innovation Award-2026” today.

Bhopal. The Homeopathy Wellness Center of the Government Homeopathic Medical College Hospital located at the AYUSH campus in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh will be awarded the AYUSH and Integrated Medical Innovation Award – 2026 by the State Empowerment and Transformation Institution (SETU) Commission of the Government of Uttarakhand in a ceremony organized in Dehradun on Thursday.

Principal of Homeopathy Medical College, Dr. SK Mishra said that this honor is given to encourage innovations across the country. Homeopathy Wellness Center of Government Homeopathic Medical College, Bhopal is the only government homeopathy institute to receive this honour, which is being given this award in the AYUSH and Integrative Medicine category.

He told that the Homeopathy Wellness Center of the Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bhopal is jointly operated with the cooperation of the Central Council of Yoga and Natural Research, Government of India. The Homeopathy Wellness Center, operating since 2016, was established in a new building in the year 2024 due to the efforts of the state AYUSH Minister Inder Singh Parmar.

Principal Dr. Mishra said that the center provides treatment and facilities to patients and healthy people through homeopathy, naturopathy and yoga. This is the only center of its kind in the country and so far more than 1.25 lakh beneficiaries have been provided services at this centre. In this centre, experts have been posted by the State and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, so that many diseases can be identified and their treatment can be provided.

He told that with the cooperation of the Government of India and the continuous efforts of the experts in the Homeopathy Medical College campus, this center has proved to be very useful in a large number of bone and joint problems, paralysis problems, lifestyle related diseases like obesity, hypothyroidism, diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Mishra said that detailed and comprehensive research is being done here by other research councils of the Government of India. At present, the number of people suffering from paralysis and thyroid disease is registered, who get benefits from here. Dr. Mishra said that the Setu Aayog of Uttarakhand, formerly known as the State Policy Commission, is proving to be a leading institution in encouraging new experiments and various types of innovations in the country.
