When will Eid be celebrated in the year 2026?
Islamic scholar Mufti Mukarram said that the date of Eid-ul-Fitr is not announced until the moon is completely visible in the sky. The Islamic calendar is based on the movement of the moon, due to which the date of Eid is not confirmed in advance. Every year, Eid is announced only after the moon is visible on the last day of the month of Ramzan. According to the Islamic calendar, if the moon is visible on the evening of March 20 this year i.e. 2026, then the festival of Eid will be celebrated on March 21.

When will Eid be celebrated in Saudi Arabia?
Inside the Haramain shared a post on its ‘X’ (Twitter) account on March 19, in which it was informed that today the moon of Shawwal 1447 Hijri was not visible anywhere in the entire state.

It is further written that today i.e. on March 19, the month of Ramzan will complete 30 days and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday i.e. March 20, 2026.
