Increasing incidents of heart attack among youth in Haryana, 17,973 youth aged 18 to 45 years died since Corona.

Haryana News. A continuous increase in the incidence of heart attacks is being seen among the youth in Haryana. Since the Corona epidemic, 17,973 people have died due to heart attack in the state, in which most of the people were aged between 18 to 45 years.

Report presented in the assembly

On Wednesday, the Haryana government presented the report of deaths due to heart attack in the Assembly. On the last day of the budget session, Julana’s Congress MLA Vinesh Phogat questioned the government as to how many deaths due to heart attacks have occurred among youth aged 18 to 45 years since 2020. Also, he also asked whether these deaths have any connection with Covid 19 infection or vaccination.

While presenting the report, Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that in the year 2020, 2,394 youth aged between 18 to 45 years died due to heart attack. After this, 3,188 youth died of heart attack in 2021, 2,796 in 2022, 2,886 in 2023, 3,063 in 2024 and 3,255 in 2025.

Situation in January 2026

In the month of January this year, 391 youth have died due to heart attack. The government clarified that these deaths have no connection with corona vaccination, so no survey was required.

Which districts had the highest number of deaths

According to the Haryana government report, the maximum number of 71 youth died in Yamunanagar district in January 2026. Other than this:

  • Fatehabad: 30
  • Gurugram: 8
  • Jhajjar: 17
  • Jind: 12
  • Kaithal: 12
  • Karnal: 8
  • Kurukshetra: 14
  • Nuh: 36
  • Narnaul: 6
  • Panchkula: 19
  • Panipat: 5
  • Palwal: 37
  • Rewari: 17
  • Sirsa: 35
  • Sonipat: 6

No death due to heart attack was recorded in Rohtak, Hisar and Ambala in the state during the month of January.
