15.87 KM long road will be rejuvenated in Balrampur by the cost of Rs 43 crore 77 lakh.

Sadullahnagar – The proposal to construct Rehra Bazar road with widening has been approved. The road will be widened by three to seven meters. Administrative and financial approval has been given for widening the 15.87 km long road. The total construction cost of the project has been fixed at approximately Rs 43 crore 77 lakh, against which an amount of Rs 12 crore 51 lakh has also been released.

The widening of this road will directly benefit the two major markets of the area, Rehra Bazaar and Sadullah Nagar, as well as about thirty villages including Nayanagar, Ahiraula, Ghasi Pokhara, Achalpur Chaudhary, Saraikhas, Achalpurrup, Kanchhar Ashrafarpur, Jamunipur, Patkarpur, Datlupur, Chhatlupur, Jakhauli.

Traffic of lakhs of people will become easier

By connecting with Utraula Mankapur road, the people of the area will get easy connectivity to Ayodhya, Lucknow, tehsil and district headquarters. The reconstruction of the road will ease the movement of about two lakh people. The people of the area have expressed happiness over the approval of widening of the road. Harivansh Singh, District Collector Pandey, Vishnu Dev Gupta and Arvind Mishra said that this road is the lifeline of people of more than 30 villages along with Sadullah Nagar and Rehra Bazaar.

MLA Ram Pratap Verma said that the Sadullanagar-Rehra road was in a dilapidated condition for a long time due to which the residents of the area had to face difficulties in commuting. For this he met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. After this the process of proposal acceptance gained momentum. Said that it is a priority to speed up the development works of the area. In the coming time, work on other roads and basic facilities will also be done rapidly.
