BJP’s Second List For Bengal Assembly Election 2026: BJP released the second list for Bengal, names of 111 candidates including Nishith Pramanik, Roopa Ganguly declared.

New Delhi. BJP has also released the second list of its candidates for the West Bengal Assembly elections. In this list, names of a total of 111 candidates including former Union Minister of State for Home Nishith Pramanik, former actress Roopa Ganguly, Papia Adhikari, firebrand leader Priyanka Tibrewal have been announced. In this list, along with its old leaders, BJP has also fielded some people who have left some other party. Earlier, BJP had announced the names of 144 candidates and now including the second list, the names of a total of 255 candidates have been announced.

BJP has given ticket to Nitish Pramanik from Mathbhanga while Rupa Ganguly, who made her name in every household by playing the role of Draupadi in Mahabharata, has been given ticket from Sonarpur South. BJP has declared Devendu Adhikari, younger brother of Leader of Opposition in Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari, as its candidate from Egra Assembly constituency. Whereas former IPS officer Rajesh Kumar has been fielded from Jagat Dal. The seat of famous Bengali actor Hiran Chatterjee has been changed. This time he has got the ticket from Shyampur. In 2021, he won the election from Kharagpur Sadar seat on BJP ticket. Actress Sarbori Mukherjee has been given ticket from Jadavpur.
