  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Butter or oil – for toasting

How to make Masala Toast

Masala Toast is a tasty and healthy breakfast dish. To prepare this, first take boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them well. Now add finely chopped onion, tomato, green chilli and coriander leaves.

After this, add red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala and salt and mix all the ingredients well. The base of this masala toast will be ready. Now take bread slices and spread the prepared masala mixture evenly on it. Heat a pan on gas and apply some butter or oil on it.

Now place the spiced bread on the pan and cook on low flame. When the bread becomes golden brown on one side, turn it and cook until the other side also becomes crisp.

Take out the hot masala toast in a plate and serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce. If you want, you can further enhance its taste by adding some butter on top. This breakfast is liked by everyone from children to adults.
