Bulldozer runs on encroachment in Barhi before festivals, administration is strict about providing relief from jam

Barhi, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand:- Keeping in mind the upcoming major festivals like Ramnavmi, Eid and Sarhul, Barhi block administration launched encroachment removal campaign to deal with the jam and chaos in the market area. This campaign was conducted under the joint leadership of Barhi Circle Officer Chandrashekhar Kunal and Block Development Officer Jaipal Mahato. During the campaign, with the help of JCB machine, permanent and temporary encroachments on the major roads of Barhi, Dhanbad Road, Gaya Road and Hazaribagh Road were removed.

Roads were cleared by removing shops, sheds and other obstructions built illegally on the roadside, so that the common people could get convenience in transportation. Officials clarified that during festivals, the problem of excessive crowd and jam arises at Barhi Chowk, due to which people have to face a lot of trouble. Keeping this in view, the administration has already started this campaign with strictness, so that the traffic system remains smooth and no untoward situation arises.

On this occasion, BDO Jaipal Mahato and CO Chandrashekhar Kunal gave strict instructions to the businessmen not to encroach on roads and public places. He said that this campaign against encroachment will continue and legal action will be taken against those who violate the rules. The officials appealed to the businessmen for cooperation and said that they should voluntarily cooperate with the administration by removing encroachments, so that everyone can get facilities.

During the campaign, Revenue Inspector Ajay Kumar, Revenue Employee Ritlal Rajak, Marketing Officer Manohar Bhagat, Police Sub Inspector Sushil Kumar, Kapuldeepak Nag, Panchayat Secretary Saroj Kumar, Rajendra Mishra, Lakshmi Kumari, Chhathu Ganjhu, Lalita Kumari and other personnel were present.
