Jack Edwards Ruled Out of IPL 2026 Due to Injury

The Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Jack Edwards has been ruled out of the IPL 2026 tournament due to an injury. However, the franchise is yet to reveal the announcement on the injury and its extent.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking for a replacement for the all-rounder who joined the franchise for INR 3 crore. Jack Edwards has a good record in T20s. Having played 77 T20s, he has scored 853 runs at a strike rate of 121.50 and has also picked 52 wickets.

This will be a blow to the franchise as Edwards is the second cricketer to suffer injury. Captain Pat Cummins is set to first few games of the season, as he is currently recovering from his back injury.

The franchise has announced that Ishan Kishan will be leading the side in the absence of Cummins, with Abhishek Sharma named as his deputy.
