Threat to Tejashwi Yadav’s chair! RJD MLA Faisal Rehman’s move increased the stir

Sanjay Singh, Patna. In Bihar politics, sometimes a small move creates a big political storm. This time this work has been done by Dhaka MLA Faisal Rahman. By staying away from voting in the Rajya Sabha elections, he has burst a ‘silent bomb’, the echo of which is being heard directly till the top leadership of RJD. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav is under the most pressure, whose chair is now stuck between mathematics and politics.

Will RJD take strict action?

The matter is not just about one vote, but about the entire balance of power. To remain the leader of opposition in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, the support of at least 25 MLAs is necessary. Somehow RJD is clinging to this magical figure. In such a situation, if action is taken against Faisal Rehman and he is thrown out of the party, then this number may decrease and with this, Tejashwi’s position may also shift.

This is the reason why RJD is currently standing in a situation of ‘what to do if done’. From outside the party is showering allegations on NDA, but internally the uneasiness can be clearly felt. The question is whether the party will compromise on discipline or take the risk and take strict action.

RJD in confusion regarding Faisal Rehman

There is discussion in political circles that this step of Faisal Rehman is not just a coincidence but can also be a well-thought-out strategy. Due to this, questions are being raised on the internal strength of RJD. If an MLA can deviate from the party line, can more such examples come to light? This fear is forcing the RJD leadership to remain silent.

This is considered to be one of the toughest tests for Tejashwi Yadav in his political career. On one hand there is the credibility and discipline of the party and on the other hand there is constitutional position and political power. It is not easy to take both of them together.

Sources reveal that continuous meetings are going on within RJD on this issue. Every aspect is being considered. But at present, taking any decision is being considered like putting one’s hand in fire. This entire incident has also proved that sometimes silence says a lot in politics. RJD’s current silence has become its biggest compulsion.

Now everyone’s eyes are on Tejashwi Yadav. Will they show strictness or maintain strategic silence to save the chair? Whatever be the answer, it is certain that one step taken by Faisal Rehman will be remembered for a long time in the politics of Bihar.
