NCC cadets are getting equipped with drone technology
Prayagraj. The 12 day COC Drone Training Camp organized at Ram Dulari Bachchu Lal Jaiswal PG College, Nawabganj by 16 UP Battalion NCC under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters Prayagraj is rapidly progressing towards its objectives. Cadets of Senior Division (SD) and Senior Wing (SW) of eight NCC Group Headquarters of the state are participating with enthusiasm in this camp which will start from March 12 and continue till March 23.
The main objective of the camp is to train the cadets with modern drone technology, so that they can face the future military and civil challenges in a technically competent manner. During the training, cadets are being given practical knowledge of the intricacies of drone designing, assembling, operation and flying. The cadets displayed excellent efficiency and readiness in assembling and successfully testing the drone in a limited time.
Under the training, cadets are also being given detailed information about safety standards of drone operation, surveillance system, disaster management and its use in the defense sector. Besides, their firing ability is also being strengthened through weapon training, thereby increasing their discipline and confidence.
On the eighth day of the camp, NCC Group Commander Brigadier Upendra Singh Kandil inspected the training camp. During this, the cadets demonstrated impressive drone flying, seeing which he appreciated the cadets. The camp is being operated under the leadership of Camp Commandant Colonel Nishant Bariyar and Deputy Camp Commandant Colonel Yogendra Chinwan.
This training camp is not only empowering the cadets technically but also strengthening their discipline, leadership ability, quick decision making ability and the spirit of dedication towards serving the nation.
