IAS Ravi Mittal appointed Deputy Secretary in Prime Minister’s Office, Department of Personnel and Training issued order

New Delhi : Chhattisgarh cadre IAS Ravi Mittal has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office on deputation. Presently IAS Ravi Mittal is holding the responsibility of Public Relations Commissioner. The Department of Personnel and Training has issued an order in this regard. The order issued reads, The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ravi Mittal, IAS (CG: 2016), currently in this cadre, to the post of Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office for a period of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Dr. Ravi Mittal is a 2016 batch IAS officer. Recently he held the post of Jashpur Collector. Dr. Mittal has worked as District Panchayat CEO in Mahasamund, Raigarh and Raipur. He has also been the Garden SDM in 2018. Dr. Ravi Mittal did MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi and then joined the Indian Administrative Service.
