‘Dhurandhar 2’ creates new history, enters Rs 100 crore club on first day

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has created a new history by performing brilliantly at the box office since its release.

After great earnings in advance booking and preview shows, the film broke the record and crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on the very first day. Due to the tremendous response from the audience, there is tremendous enthusiasm about the film in theatres.

According to trade reports, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ had earned around Rs 43 crore in India from paid previews, while on the first day of its release the film surprised everyone by collecting a net of Rs 102.55 crore. In this way, the total box office collection of the film has reached Rs 145.55 crore in just two days.

The special thing is that the film has left behind even big films like Jawan and Animal in terms of opening day collection. At the same time, South superstar Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ faced tough competition from ‘Dhurandhar 2’.

According to reports, this film did a business of Rs 31.50 crore on the first day, which in itself is considered a strong start, but this figure was less as compared to ‘Dhurandhar 2’. It is noteworthy that Pawan Kalyan’s previous film ‘They Call Him OG’ had earned Rs 63.75 crore on the first day.
