10-12 hours of make-up, strict diet and changed voice… this is how Danish Iqbal created the character of Bade Saab of ‘Dhurandhar 2’

Tezzbuzz Desk – Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is dominating the box office and social media these days. While Ranveer Singh’s powerful action avatar in the film is in the news, another character has attracted the special attention of the audience, ‘Bade Saab’. This role has been played by actor Danish Iqbal, who has surprised everyone with his brilliant performance.

Had to work hard to become ‘Bade Saab’

In a recent interview, Danish Iqbal revealed that it was not at all easy for him to get into this character. He told that every day he had to spend about 10 to 12 hours on the makeup chair to get the look of ‘Bade Saab’.

While the other stars were preparing for the shoot, Danish was going through a long process of getting into his character. This is the reason why he used to reach the set first, so that every detail could be worked out.

Heavy getup increased difficulties

The look of ‘Bade Saab’ was not only time consuming but also quite challenging. Danish Iqbal told that due to the heavy getup, it became difficult for him to eat and drink properly. It was also not easy to do much movement, due to which one had to face many problems during shooting.

He described this experience in an interesting way, saying that it was as if he had already started Ramadan—meaning he had to completely control his diet and daily routine.

Change in voice and body language also

Not only the looks, but Danish Iqbal also had to do special work on the voice and body language for his character. His character in the film is that of a weak and sick man, for which he made his voice slow and tired.

It is not easy to play such a character because it requires not just dialogue delivery but meticulous work on every expression, every breath and every movement.

Getting a lot of love from the audience

Danish Iqbal said that playing this character was a big opportunity for his career. Today when the audience is praising his work, it is the biggest happiness for him.
