Ordering food online has become expensive, Zomato increased the platform fees, know now how much fee will have to be paid on every order.

Delhi. Zomato, the online food delivery platform, has increased the platform fee charged from users by Rs 2.40 to Rs 14.90 per order. The increased charges were visible on Zomato’s app on Friday. Zomato’s platform fee is now Rs 14.90 before GST, which was earlier Rs 12.50. Its rival Swiggy is charging its users a platform fee of Rs 14.99 including GST.

According to experts, this increase in fees has been done at all India level in all the markets where Zomato operates. It last increased the platform fee in September 2026. Meanwhile, the third largest food delivery company Magicpin has ruled out increasing platform fees for now.

The company currently charges a platform fee of Rs 14.20 per order. Anshu Sharma, CEO and Founder, MagicPin, said, “At a time when the food delivery business is going through a difficult phase with rising costs, we have decided not to increase the platform fee.
