It is not just a temple, but a living symbol of thousands of years of spiritual practice, architecture and cultural consciousness. This site is not only important from a religious point of view, but is also a powerful evidence of regional history, art and social life.
Chief Minister Sai said that on Mahashivratri, this place attracts thousands of devotees as a major pilgrimage, where a unique confluence of tribal traditions and Shaiva practices is visible.
