Hero HF Deluxe, Honda Shine 100 and Bajaj Platina 100 are the three most popular options in this segment. In terms of price, the HF Deluxe is the most affordable, starting at around ₹57,657 (ex-showroom). The Shine 100 comes at around ₹65,243, while the Platina 100 starts at around ₹66,015.
Engine and Performance
All three bikes have engines around 100cc, which are made for smooth and easy riding. The 97.2cc engine of HF Deluxe gives a good balance in the city. The 98.98cc engine of the Shine 100 feels more refined, while the 102cc engine of the Platina 100 strikes a balance of power and comfort.

Mileage is the biggest feature of this segment. Platina 100 gives a mileage of 70-75 kmpl, while HF Deluxe also gives around 70 kmpl. The mileage of Shine 100 ranges between 55-65 kmpl.

Platina 100 is ahead in terms of comfort, whose SNS suspension works better on bad roads. HF Deluxe also gives a comfortable and stable ride. Shine 100 being light, it is easy to ride in traffic, but the cushioning seems a little less.

HF Deluxe has i3S technology, while Shine 100 has eSP and silent start feature. Platina 100 comes with simple but practical features. CBS (Combined Braking System) is provided in all three bikes, which increases safety. HF Deluxe is better in mileage. Shine 100 is perfect for smooth and premium feel. At the same time, Platina 100 is a great option for more comfort and long distance.
