Iran’s President appealed to form ‘Islamic Assembly of the Middle East’, said- “We do not want conflict”
Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian made an important statement on the occasion of Nowruz and Eid-ul-Fitr. He said that Iran does not want any kind of conflict with Islamic countries and it does not want war. Pejeshkian also expressed sadness over the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei following the American and Israeli attacks on Iran.
He called for the creation of an ‘Islamic Assembly of the Middle East’, rejecting the need for foreign intervention in the region. Pejeshkian said that we should not fall into the trap laid by our enemies and we should resolve our disputes peacefully.
Let us tell you, the President further said that Tehran does not want unrest and instability in the region and it does not want to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. He appealed to his neighboring countries to work unitedly. The Iranian President blamed Israel for turmoil, terrorism and instability in the region.
“We are not at war with Muslim countries, because they are our brothers. This is all the work of a deceitful enemy who is trying to sow division among Muslims,” Pejeshkian said. He also mentioned the martyrdoms that took place during the holy month of Ramzan and appealed to the people to unite.
Along with this, he told Iran’s neighbors that we are ready to resolve all issues with you. He expressed the need for an ‘Islamic Security Framework’ to ensure stability in the region and said that this would be important for the peace and security of the region.
The Iranian President also said in his message, “We have no right to fight each other under any pretext. We must together form an ‘Islamic Assembly of the Middle East’ to coordinate security, economic and cultural relations.”
At the same time, Pejeshkian made it clear through this message that Iran wants peace, security and stability in the region, and called for avoiding any kind of conflict.
