Veteran filmmaker SS Rajamouli gave a big statement regarding the film Dhurandhar-2, said- liked the first part.
New Delhi. Director Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar-2 The Revenge has been released in theaters on March 19. The film has had a spectacular opening and has created many records. The film has received tremendous praise from filmmaker SS Rajamouli. This sequel to the record-breaking blockbuster of 2025 has not only been loved by the audiences but has also been garnering praise from the bigwigs of the film industry for its grandeur, heart-touching narrative and depth of storytelling. Giving a tribute to Rajamouli film on his X account, he wrote that he liked the first part very much, but this sequel is even better than the original. Rajamouli said that its script, casting, technical work, music, world design and direction, everything is impeccable.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli especially mentioned the emotional moments that keep this big film grounded. Rajamouli praised director Aditya Dhar and praised his courage to release a four-hour long film. Despite the film’s long duration, Rajamouli said that the audience remains glued to their seats till the last frame, thanks to the script which beautifully weaves real tension with emotional ups and downs. He wrote that its script has such ups and downs that create real tension full of emotions. The director also praised the film’s lead actors, especially Ranveer Singh, who reprises his role of undercover agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi. Rajamouli described Singh’s performance as a masterclass in acting and particularly cited the scene with his sister in a shed as his best moment.
