An open gym was unveiled on Saturday at the Operational Recreation Center located in the colony premises of Anpara Thermal Project. This program was completed with the positive initiative of Shri Ramlila and Shravani Mahotsav Committee, Anpara Thermal Project, which will benefit the officers, employees and their families residing in the colony.

The gym was inaugurated in the program by the Chief Guest and Chief General Manager Anpara Thermal Project Engineer Ajay Kumar Katiyar. President Abha Katiyar, Jyoti Punj Mahila Mandal, General Manager ‘D’ Thermal Project Prashant Tripathi, General Manager SP Yadav, General Manager ‘B’ Thermal Project Chandraprakash, Subhadra Yadav, Abhilasha Yadav were present as special guests. The Chief General Manager said that under social work, the colony premises Construction of open gyms in the clubs for the health benefit of the officers, employees and their families residing in the project is a commendable initiative of the committee because only when all the people remain physically healthy, they will be able to contribute fully to the interest of the project and the interest of the country by generating electricity in the project with new energy.

It is noteworthy that the work of setting up this open gym has been done by the present committee of Shri Ramlila and Shravani Mahotsav Committee in all three clubs namely Operational Recreation Centre, Ministerial Recreation Centre, Junior Engineer Recreation Centre. Considering health, this is a very commendable step. Even before this, the committee had done commendable work by distributing blankets to hundreds of poor, elderly, helpless and needy in the last harsh winter. Shravani Mela President VK Anand and Secretary Abhishek Singh and other officials jointly said that the committee will continue to cooperate in such social works in the future as well.
