Vietnamese airport named among world’s cleanest this year by Skytrax
It ranked sixth on the 2026 list following a survey assessing passengers’ experiences across multiple factors, including waiting times, queuing systems, priority lanes, e-gate efficiency, and the courtesy and effectiveness of immigration staff.
Japan’s New Chitose Airport topped the list, followed by Centrair Nagoya in Japan and Bahrain International Airport.
Located on Cam Ranh Bay near the tourist beach city of Nha Trang, Cam Ranh Airport is the sole Vietnamese airport on the list.
The airport offers a range of services and amenities for passengers, including VIP lounges, medical services, and free Wi-Fi and water.
It also provides luggage services, special assistance for those with mobility issues, and a Lost & Found counter.
The airport has two terminals: T1 for domestic flights and T2 for international flights.
Terminal T2, inaugurated in 2018, is impressive with its architecture inspired by a swallow’s nest – a symbol of the agarwood region.
The 2026 World’s Cleanest Airports list is divided into two categories: one for all airports and another for airports with up to 30 million passengers annually.
Tokyo Haneda in Japan remains the cleanest of all airports.
