The 9th match of IPL 2025 was played between Gujarat and Mumbai. Gujarat won this match by 36 runs. Batting first, Gujarat scored 196 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Mumbai could score only 160 runs after batting for 20 overs and losing 6 wickets. Sai Sudarshan scored a brilliant half century for Gujarat.
Gujarat, who came to bat first, got off to a great start with Shubhman Gill and Sai Sudarshan. Both added 78 runs for the first wicket. Gill was out after scoring 38 runs in 27 balls and missed his half century. After his dismissal, Tilak Verma came in at number three. Together with Rickelton, he took the team’s score to 35. Rickelton was out after scoring 6 runs.
