Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, eligible beneficiaries will be given ration for three months at once. The government has taken this step keeping in mind the convenience and safety of common citizens. This decision of the government will benefit those beneficiaries whose house is far from the ration shop and they have to visit the shop every month.

Ration will be available for three months at once

Food and Public Distribution Department has issued a post on ‘X’ informing that ration card holders will be given ration for the three months of April, May and June 2026 together. This step of the government will prove beneficial especially for those people whose house is far from the ration shop and who face difficulty in going to get ration again and again.

With this decision of the government, not only will the eligible beneficiaries get ration on time, but the ration distribution process will also be more convenient. Apart from this, getting three months’ ration together will save both time and effort of the beneficiaries and the hassle of going to the ration shop again and again will be eliminated.

Keep track of time and date

To get three months’ ration at once, eligible beneficiaries will have to visit their nearest ration shop on the date and time fixed by the government. After this, by putting your fingerprint in the machine, you can take ration for three months at once from the Kotdar. If you do not take care of the time and date, you will miss out on its benefits, which may lead to problems in getting ration later.
