In the match played against Ghana on Friday, Fanny played an explosive inning of 111 unbeaten runs in just 65 balls. His innings included 17 fours. Batting aggressively from the very beginning, she gave a tough class to the Ghanaian bowlers and kept scoring runs continuously. Thanks to his stormy innings, Rwanda scored 210 runs after losing 3 wickets in 20 overs.

Became the first female player to do so

With this century, Fan Utagushimaninde has become the first female player to score a century in the debut match of T20 International. Earlier, the biggest record of debut in Women’s T20 International was in the name of Australia’s Karen Rolton, who played an unbeaten inning of 96 runs against England in her debut match. At the same time, the record for scoring the youngest century in T20 International was in the name of Uganda’s Proskovia Aloka, who scored a century against Mali at the age of 16.
