This is a support scheme in which farmers are not required to pay any type of premium. This scheme is specially designed for those non-loanee farmers who want to get the assistance amount directly.

Under this scheme, both land owner and sharecropper farmers can apply as per their eligibility. For this, it is mandatory for farmers to be registered on Bihar e-cooperative portal, only then they will get the amount directly in their bank account. Depending on the crop damage, farmers are given assistance ranging from Rs 7500 per hectare to Rs 10,000 per hectare.
