Kangana’s big statement amid Rs 370 crore ‘Dhurandhar 2’ – ‘Not the hero, the director is the real superstar’

Amidst the success of the film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ which is taking the box office by storm, a statement by Kangana Ranaut has sparked a new debate on social media. Kangana, leaving aside the film’s star cast, directly called director Aditya Dhar a superstar and said that the real heroes are filmmakers, not actors. His statement has once again rekindled the ‘director vs star’ debate in the industry.

The film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has proved to be the most talked about film of this year. There was a lot of hype about the film even before its release and after its release the craze among the fans has doubled. In just two days, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ defeated many big films at the box office.

Kangana praised Aditya Dhar fiercely
Kangana wrote on Instagram story- “The best thing about the success of Dhurandhar is that Aditya Dhar is an established superstar director. Hollywood’s superstar directors are always bigger than superstar actors. For example: Spielberg, Tarantino, Nolan. We never give our filmmakers as much respect or credit as they deserve. They are overworked, underpaid and harassed by superstars.”
