- Boiled potatoes – 4-5 (medium size)
- Bread slices – 6-7
- Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger – 1 tsp (grated)
- Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala – 1/2 teaspoon
- Cornflour – 2 tbsp
- Oil – for frying
How to make Potato Patties
Tasty Aloo Patties is a tasty snack recipe. To prepare this, first mash the boiled potatoes well in a bowl. Now add green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, salt, red chilli, garam masala and chaat masala and mix well. This delicious filling of your patties is ready.
Cut the edges of the bread slice and soften it by applying light water. Now place the bread on your palm and press it lightly so that it becomes flat. Place the prepared potato filling in it and shape it into patties.
Prepare a thin batter by mixing cornflour and some water in a bowl. Now dip the prepared patties in this solution and give them a light coating. This makes the patties more crispy when fried.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties on medium flame until golden and crisp. Keep in mind that the flame should not be too high, otherwise the patties may burn from outside and remain raw from inside.
