Investigation revealed that this gang had installed solar-powered and SIM-enabled CCTV cameras at sensitive places in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Such equipment has been recovered from Sonipat Railway Station and Delhi Cantt Railway Station. The accused were sending information related to military bases, railway stations and deployment of security forces to Pakistan through these cameras.
