Political uproar in Punjab: CM Bhagwant Mann accepts resignation of his minister Laljit Bhullar, name appeared in suicide video
Chandigarh. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has accepted the resignation of his Transport Minister Laljit Bhullar. Actually, Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, Amritsar manager of Punjab Warehouse, swallowed sulfas late on Friday night, after which he died during treatment on Saturday morning. Before this incident, he had made a video in which he had taken the name of Transport Minister Laljit Bhullar. The politics of Punjab was heating up regarding this when the Chief Minister took the resignation of Laljit Bhullar. At the same time, after this incident, the police is investigating the entire matter.

At the same time, after this incident, MP Gurjit Singh reached Aujla Hospital, where he targeted the Bhagwant Mann government of the state regarding the matter. He said that the allegations related to corruption are serious and the entire matter should be investigated impartially. At present the police and related departments are busy investigating the matter. Officials say that the further situation will be clear only after the investigation is completed.
Whereas CM Bhagwant Mann said that the resignation of the cabinet minister has been taken. We cannot let the investigation be affected. We did not come to power to harass the officials. Bhullar’s portfolio will soon be given to another minister. At the same time, this incident has been targeted by Congress. Congress leader Sukhpal Khaira has demanded immediate registration of a criminal case against Laljit Bhullar. Khaira said that Bhullar is accused of mentally and physically torturing Warehousing Corporation DM Gagandeep Randhawa, due to which Randhawa committed suicide. On X he wrote that
First the minister and his men assaulted Randhawa, and later Randhawa took the minister’s name before committing suicide. I urge the government and police to arrest this minister immediately. If this does not happen, it will be believed that the police is being used only to settle personal scores with the opposition.

In fact, recently a district manager of a warehouse in Punjab had committed suicide. Before suicide, the officer had recorded a video, which quickly went viral. In this video, the officer had blamed some people for his mental problems and death, which directly included the name of Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar. As soon as this video surfaced, there was a political uproar in the state and the opposition parties surrounded the government and started demanding the immediate resignation of the minister.
