Eid Mubarak 2026: President Murmu, PM Modi and opposition leader Rahul Gandhi congratulated the countrymen on Eid.

Eid Mubarak 2026:After the end of the holy month of Mazan, the festival of Eid ul Fitr is being celebrated today (21 March). On this occasion, a large number of people gathered at Eidgah to offer namaz and everyone hugged each other and wished them a happy Eid. At the same time, many leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, PM Narendra Modi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi have congratulated the countrymen on Eid.

President Draupadi Murmu said in the X Post, “Hearty congratulations to all the countrymen, especially Muslim sisters and brothers, on the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival teaches self-restraint, service, philanthropy and compassion towards the deprived sections. On this occasion, let us pledge to strengthen the society and the nation.” Vice President CP Radhakrishnan said on Twitter, “Eid Mubarak! May this auspicious occasion inspire hope, goodwill and compassion, and bring happiness and success in life.”

PM Narendra Modi wrote in an X-post on Saturday, “Heartiest wishes for Eid-ul-Fitr. May this day promote brotherhood and goodness everywhere. May everyone be happy and healthy. Eid Mubarak!”

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote in the ex-post, “Heartiest greetings to all of you on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. I wish that the spirit of peace, harmony and compassion expands further all around. I also pray for everyone’s welfare, happiness and good health. Eid Mubarak!”
