Sabudana Fruit Custard: Do you like to eat fruit custard? If yes, then you must try the recipe of Sabudana Fruit Custard. This custard can be enjoyed even during fasting. For your information, let us tell you that a good amount of nutrients are found in Sabudana Fruit Custard, which can prove to be very beneficial for your health. If you want to make Sabudana Fruit Custard, you will need 1/2 cup fine or medium sago, 1/2 liter full cream milk, 4-5 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder, 1-1.5 cups finely chopped fresh fruits like apple, banana, pomegranate and grapes, 2 tablespoons finely chopped cashews, almonds and pistachios.
Step 1- First of all, wash the sago thoroughly 3-4 times and then soak it in water for about 2 hours.
Second Step- After this, take out full cream milk in a heavy bottomed vessel and keep it to boil on medium flame.
Third step- Add sago in boiled milk. Now cook this mixture on low flame for about 10-15 minutes.
Fourth Step- You have to cook this mixture while stirring until the milk thickens and the sago becomes transparent.
Fifth Step- After this add sugar and cardamom powder in the mixture.
Sixth Step- When the sugar dissolves well, then you can turn off the gas. Leave the sago mixture to cool.
Seventh Step- After some time, keep it in the refrigerator for 2 hours so that it becomes thick and chilled.
Eighth Step- Finally, chop your favorite fruits and dry fruits and mix them in the sago custard.
