1500 people have died so far in Iran, the war started from 28th February
Cairo: More than 1,500 people have been killed during the war in Iran since the US and Israel launched attacks. The government broadcaster gave this information quoting the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile, local residents said Iran’s capital was hit by heavy airstrikes as Ramadan ended. Iran targeted a joint UK-US military base in the Indian Ocean and Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility was again attacked as the conflict in West Asia continued into its fourth week.
The attack by Iran on Diego Garcia air base, located about 4,000 kilometers away, indicates that Tehran has missiles that can travel much farther than previously acknowledged. The impact of the war is being felt beyond West Asia and the prices of food and fuel are rising due to this war.
It is not yet clear how much damage Iran has suffered in the US and Israeli attacks that began on February 28 or who is actually in command there. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mujtaba Khamenei has not been seen in public since being named to the role.
