BCCI on Saturday announced the schedule of the two-match T20 International series against Ireland. The Indian team led by Suryakumar Yadav will tour Ireland in June, where both the matches will be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club (Stormont Ground) in Belfast.
This series will start right after IPL 2026, which starts from March 28 with the opener match of Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad. After the Ireland tour, Team India will leave for England, where a five-match T20 series will be played from July 1.
Complete schedule of India vs Ireland T20 series

– 2nd T20: June 28, 2026 (Sunday) – Start 7:30 PM IST, Belfast (3:00 PM local time)

Busy schedule and head-to-head record
After the last match against Ireland on June 28, Team India will reach England, where five T20 matches will be played from July 1 to July 11 (the last match at The Ageas Bowl). That means the team will play 7 T20 International matches in just 13-15 days – this will be a big test for the players.
India’s record against Ireland in T20 International is excellent. India has won all 8 matches so far (100% win), out of which 6 matches were played on Irish soil.
In the T20 World Cup 2026, India won the title for the first time on home soil by defeating New Zealand in the final in Ahmedabad and became the first team to win two consecutive World Cups. This victory was historic under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. Now this series will be a good opportunity for the World Cup winners to prepare before the England tour.
