Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was the most expensive in the auction held in Abu Dhabi before the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 25.20 crore. With this, Green became the most expensive foreign player in IPL history. Now KKR has a lot of expectations from him. It will be important to see how Green performs for KKR troubled by injuries to fast bowlers. Before that, let’s take a look at the performance of those players who have been the most expensive in the last 5 auctions.
Rishabh Pant
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) had bid Rs 27 crore for Rishabh Pant in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Pant became the most expensive player in IPL history. He played a total of 14 matches in the season and took 17 wickets. During this period his economy was 10.61.
