Iran shoots down US F-15 Jet: The eyes of the world are currently focused on the Gulf countries, where the situation is getting out of control. The ongoing tension between America and Iran has now reached a point where only the smell of destruction is coming. According to the latest and sensational report, Iran has claimed that it has targeted another powerful American fighter jet F-15 flying near the Strait of Hormuz with its missile. This news has come at a time when US President Donald Trump had given a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran and threatened to destroy its power plants.

Iran’s Joint Air Defense Headquarters surprised the whole world by issuing a statement on Sunday. Iran claims that their radar had tracked an enemy F-15 fighter jet near its southern shores. As the aircraft came close to their border, Iran’s sophisticated ‘surface-to-air missile systems’ locked on and targeted it. Some videos are also going viral on social media, in which a burning ball is seen falling in the sky, which is being said to be a fighter jet. Although this loss has not yet been officially confirmed by the Pentagon or the US Army, this aggressive attitude of Iran has added fuel to the fire of war.

Stealth jet F-35 worth $100 million was also a victim

This is not the first time that Iran has challenged the US Air Force. Just before this, F-35 ‘Lightning II’, one of the world’s most expensive and modern fighter aircraft, was also targeted by Iran. This fifth generation stealth jet, worth more than $100 million, is known to avoid radar detection, but Iran’s radar not only detected it but also carried out a deadly attack on it. In that incident, the pilot miraculously saved his life by making an emergency landing of the badly damaged aircraft at a military base in the Middle East.

Trump’s ultimatum and burning Hormuz

Donald Trump recently warned on ‘Truth Social’ that if Iran does not clear the way to the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, America will raze its biggest power plants to the ground. Trump says that Iran’s military power is waning, but these continuous air strikes are telling a different story. The Strait of Hormuz, through which one-fifth of the world’s oil passes, has now become a battlefield. If the US retaliates, this conflict could directly destroy the entire world economy and peace.
