Enduring all the allegations and abusive language hurled by opposition Narendra Modi has set record of serving as the Head of Government for the longest duration

New Delhi. Narendra Modi. Names that have many records in their name. Now another record has been added to the name of PM Narendra Modi. PM Modi has become the leader who has been at the head of the government for a long time. Narendra Modi, who was elected CM of Gujarat thrice and PM thrice, has completed 8931 days as the head of the government. Before him, the record of remaining the head of the government for the longest period was held by Sikkim CM Pawan Kumar Chamling. Chamling was the head of Sikkim government for 8930 days.

PM Modi’s path to remain the head of the government for a long time has not been easy. During this time many obstacles were placed in his path. Opposition leaders used many abusive words for PM Modi like merchant of death, broker of blood, chowkidar chor hai, neech etc. Not only this, abusive words were also used for PM Modi’s late mother Hiraben during the Bihar Assembly elections. PM Modi himself had then said that opposition leaders had abused him more than a hundred times. PM Modi also keeps saying that the more the opposition parties abuse him, the more the lotus will bloom in the country. This statement of PM Modi has been proved correct and there are BJP and NDA governments in 19 states and 2 union territories of the country.

Narendra Modi became the CM of Gujarat on 7 October 2001. He remained on this post till 22 May 2014. After which he took over the power of the Center as PM and has been holding the same post since then. Riots took place in Gujarat in February-March 2002, just a few months after PM Modi became CM for the first time. At that time there was Congress led UPA government at the Centre. His name was also dragged into the violence in Gulbarga Society during the Gujarat riots. As a result, Narendra Modi had to face SIT investigation. From which he came out unscathed. Even after becoming PM, Narendra Modi has had to face many attacks and allegations from the opposition. Despite this, PM Modi is also the most famous leader in the world. Till now he has been honored by the governments of 29 countries. After becoming PM, Narendra Modi took a tough stance on Pakistan, which is spreading terrorism in India. He conducted surgical strike on Pakistan on Uri terrorist attack. After the Pulwama terrorist attack, Pakistan was shocked with air strikes and after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the work of suspending the Indus Water Treaty and breaking Pakistan’s back with Operation Sindoor happened only during PM Modi’s government. PM Modi has also done the important work of making Jammu and Kashmir completely a part of India by canceling Article 370 of the Constitution.
