100 new military schools to open across the country; Important announcement by Defense Minister

New Delhi : Defense Minister Rajnath Singh He has made major announcements giving a new direction to the country’s defense preparedness and youth participation in nation building. Speaking at the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Sainik School Ghorkhal, he announced the opening of 100 new Sainik Schools across the country and a significant increase in the number of NCC cadets.

The Defense Minister announced the expansion of the National Students’ Corps (NCC) with the aim of inculcating the values ​​of discipline, leadership and patriotism among the youth. He said that we have increased the number of vacancies in NCC. Earlier the recruitment target was 17 lakh, now it has been decided to increase it to 20 lakh. This will give more children an opportunity to learn the values ​​necessary for nation building.

Expanding the scope of military education, Rajnath Singh announced that the government is setting up 100 new army schools across the country under a public-private partnership model. He emphasized that these institutes not only prepare the youth for the defense forces, but also enable them to assume leadership roles in various fields.

The Defense Minister termed the government’s decision to admit girls in military schools as historic and revolutionary. He called it an important step towards women empowerment and said that the performance of women cadets proved that our girls are equal to boys in every field. Rajnath Singh laid special emphasis on discipline and preparation.

Giving a success mantra to the youth, he said, “I want to say to all children: ‘Be prepared, always be prepared.’ Prepare yourself for every situation. Overcoming challenges requires mental strength and physical fitness. A strong nation is formed only when citizens are mentally and physically prepared to face any emergency, he added.
