Ahmedabad: A unique cricket match was organized at J.D. Patel ground near Dumral in Nadiad. In a special cricket match for the disabled, organized with the cooperation and courtesy of Dharmeshbhai Patel of Nexus Group, Vipul Patel, Chairman of Amul Dairy and Jeet Patel of Dumral Premier League, disabled cricketers from various states of Gujarat and outside Gujarat displayed their unique skills by skillfully playing the cricket match on a wheel chair.
Sardar Patel Talent on Wheel Chair was organized between two teams of disabled people, India-A and India-B. In which the match was played according to all the rules like a normal cricket match. This 15 over match was also officiated by a disabled youth from a wheel chair. A check of Rs. 80 thousand was presented to the Wheel Chair Foundation by the Chairman of Amul Dairy and Nexus Group.
