In this you just need to dial a code and then a menu appears on the screen. Here you can complete the transaction. This method may seem a little conventional, but it is very useful when there is no network.

• Making offline UPI payments is very easy. For this you have to follow some steps.
• Dial *99# from your phone.
• Now a menu will open on the screen, in which you will see several options.
• In this you have to select send money option.
• Now you can send money through mobile number, UPI ID or bank account.
• After entering the mobile number, the person’s name will appear on the screen.
• After confirming the name enter the amount.
• Now enter the UPI PIN and your transaction is about to be completed.
• The entire process is completed in seconds and does not require internet.

What is the transaction limit?

A transaction limit has been set for offline UPI payments. Currently, you can send a maximum of Rs 5,000 at a time. This limit is useful for small purchases or emergency transactions.
