Delhi CM gave new information

  • Giving a new information, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Delhi Government has given official approval to the proposal of payment of Delhi’s outstanding share in the land acquisition cost of ‘Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressway’.
  • The main objective of these peripheral expressways is to free Delhi from the pressure of heavy vehicles and reduce the air pollution levels in the city.
  • The Chief Minister has said that the previous government never showed seriousness regarding this important project and due to political malice, it deliberately withheld the payment to the Central Government, which harmed the interests of Delhi.

Apart from Prime Minister Modi, CM Rekha Gupta also met Union Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizer Minister JP Nadda.
