PM congratulated him on Eid and Navroz. During this, the current situation in the Middle East was discussed between the two leaders. Modi and Pejeshkian also discussed the global energy crisis caused by the war, including attacks on critical infrastructure. PM Modi expressed hope that the festive season will bring peace, stability and prosperity to West Asia. Along with this, Modi condemned the attacks on critical infrastructure in the West Asia region.

PM Modi said in clear words that attacks on critical infrastructure in the region are a threat to regional stability and are disrupting global supply chains. Along with this, PM Modi stressed on protecting freedom of navigation and reiterated the importance of ensuring that international sea routes remain open and ships passing through them are safe.
