According to family members, at around 11:20 pm on Saturday night, Ravindra called his elder brother and asked him to talk to his son. After some time, the son got nervous and told that the father was crying and trying to take wrong steps. As soon as the information was received, colleagues reached the spot and broke the door, but by then it was too late. The family has cited long-running marital dispute and mental stress as the reason behind this incident. Ravindra was married in 2012 and was having a dispute with his wife for the last several years. The divorce case between the two is also pending in the court. The son has also accused his mother of harassing his father and demanded action.
The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for postmortem. According to police station in-charge Pradeep Kumar, at present no written complaint has been received. In the initial investigation, the matter seems to be related to family dispute and mental stress. Further action will be taken after receiving the complaint.
