Sheela, a female lawyer in Madras High Court, has demanded a ban on the film. The lawyer alleges that there is a hidden political message in Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which may influence the upcoming elections. He has appealed to the court to ban the film till the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

In this case, the court has instructed the lawyer to file a formal petition. Besides, a demand has also been made to list this issue for early hearing.

It is noteworthy that assembly elections are to be held in Tamil Nadu on 23 April. In such a situation, the lawyer says that the content of the film can influence the voters. The issue has also sparked debate on social media, with one section considering the film as entertainment while the other is calling it “propaganda”.

Despite the controversy, the earnings of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge are not stopping. According to reports, the film has done a business of more than Rs 750 crore worldwide. In India too, this film has crossed the figure of hundreds of crores and is running on thousands of screens.
