The real thrill of the match was seen in the last over. Before that, Jasprit Bumrah took the important wicket of Dwayne Bravo for just 9 runs in the 19th over, due to which the match tilted towards Mumbai.
Lasith Malinga handled the ball in the last over. Shane Watson was run out with the help of excellent fielding on the fourth ball of the over. Now Chennai needed 2 runs on the last ball to win. Malinga bowled an accurate yorker on the last ball, which hit the pads of Shardul Thakur and he was out LBW.
