In a recent Instagram video, Bedi, who plays the pivotal politician Jameel Jamali—central to the film’s shocking climax—celebrated the movie’s unprecedented success. “I am proud to be a part of Dhurandhar 2. I must say that Dhurandhar has not only broken, or shattered, but devastated all kinds of records at the box office,” he said. “It has penetrated deep into the hearts of people in India and around the world. It is not only a commercial hit but it is also making an impact on the masses… The reactions, the collections are unprecedented, unheard and unparalleled.”

Released on March 19, 2026 (with paid previews from March 18), the nearly four-hour espionage thriller stars Ranveer Singh as undercover agent Hamza Ali Mazari/Jaskirat Singh Rangi, alongside Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and others. Building on the 2025 original, it follows intense revenge against threats tied to the 26/11 attacks, blending high-stakes action, drama, and patriotic themes. Bedi’s nuanced portrayal of Jameel Jamali has drawn massive praise, with reports crediting his twist-heavy performance as key to the film’s emotional depth.

By day 4, the film had crossed ₹450 crore net in India and approached ₹700 crore worldwide gross, shattering records for an ‘A’-certified movie and rivaling past blockbusters.

Amid the frenzy, Bedi appealed: “Please don’t shoot the scenes from the film while you are seeing it and post on social media. Because they are spoilers! And don’t shoot spoilers, specially the last scene of the film, the climax… Aap ne mazey le liye film ka, let the others also enjoy now.”

Director Aditya Dhar echoed this, urging fans to experience the twists personally: “PLEASE DON’T SHARE SPOILERS! Let every single fan walk in clueless but curious…”

As Dhurandhar: The Revenge dominates theatres, Bedi’s plea highlights the need to preserve cinema’s surprises in the social media era, ensuring wider audiences enjoy its magic unspoiled.
