This action has been taken following allegations that use of objectionable and obscene language towards women and minors in the lyrics of the song was revealed. Considering it harmful for the society, the police has made it clear that such content will not be tolerated at any cost.
Panchkula Police, showing speed in this matter, has issued notices to all the major social media platforms. In these notices, instructions have been given to immediately remove every version of the song – whether it is re-uploaded, short video or in any other format. The cyber team of the police is continuously monitoring such content and is also tracking new uploads.
State Director General of Police Ajay Singhal gave a strong message on this issue and said that the state government is fully committed to protecting the dignity of women and children. He also reiterated that it is very important to maintain responsibility on digital platforms and for this, zero tolerance policy is being adopted.
At the same time, Additional Director General of Police Shibash Kabiraj has given a direct warning to social media users. He said that if any person makes a reel on this song, shares a video or tries to spread it in any form, legal action will be taken against him immediately. Such accounts can be blocked and those who repeatedly violate the rules will be booked under strict sections.
This case has been registered in the cyber police station located in Sector-20 of Panchkula. Police teams are continuously active on digital platforms to identify those users who are involved in spreading this song.
Haryana Police has also appealed to the general public to avoid sharing any such objectionable content and if such content is seen anywhere, then immediately inform the police. Officials say that social media is a powerful medium today, so it is important to use it responsibly.
This action is being seen as a big message that now the strictness against obscene and offensive content on digital platforms is increasing. In the coming time, more stringent steps can be taken in such cases, so that the online space can be made safe and respectable.
